Attention Knox County Criminal Court Jurors

Mar 25, 2020
Attention Knox County Criminal Court Jurors

Please be advised that an Amended Order No. ADM2020-00428, concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, was filed on March 25th by the Tennessee Supreme Court leaving courts open but suspending in-person court proceedings through April 30, 2020. Therefore, if you have been assigned to a two-week service period for the Knox County Criminal Court, your jury service will need to be rescheduled. Please understand that although in-person court proceedings are temporarily postponed, your future jury service is still very much needed. We will do our best to accommodate your schedules.

The Knox County Criminal Court Clerks Office request scheduled jurors during this timeframe to do one of the following actions:

  1. Email Jury.Criminal@knoxcounty.org, listing your full name as is appears on your summons, and request a rescheduled service period, OR
  2. Call 865) 215-2492 and ask to speak with a Jury Coordinator, who will gladly assist you over the phone with confirming a new two-week service period.

Please do not delay in contacting us, we look forward to your response, and we appreciate your patience and understanding!

Sincerely,

Mike Hammond
Criminal, General Sessions & Fourth Circuit Court Clerk
